Minisode 3 of The Pseudo Scientists now up!

In case you thought that writing an article forĀ The Rationalist, joining the MUMS committee and preparing for exams just wasn’t a good enough excuse for my recent sparse blogging efforts, here’s something else you can check out that proves I haven’t been sitting around on a deckchair with a spiced tequila Old Fashioned and a good book — the third Minisode of the Pseudo Scientists is up.

It’s a bit of a stretch to call this one a minisode, I suppose, crammed full of goodies as it is and clocking in at around 40 minutes — me and Elliot have a good old chinwag about the new look Rationalist magazine, the state of maths education in Australia, and a psychic text messaging service before diving into an interview with Teresa Russell of the St James Ethics Centre about the primary school secular ethics classes being trialled in New South Wales at the moment.

To lend your support to the St James ethics program, head on over to Reason Makes A Difference, a site that promotes reason based initiatives and has a check list of ways you can support the program, and check out the Facebook page and official site.

UPDATE: Teresa has contacted me to let me know that there is a new site called http://www.parents4ethics.org that should be launching tonight for parents and such who want to support but don’t use Facebook. If the link doesn’t work for you just yet, bookmark the site and try back later.
