Proposition 8 overturned!

It’s official: Proposition 8 has been overturned in California. The judge in the case ruled that Proposition 8 violated the US Constitution’s equal protection clause, and stated that, [T]he evidence shows Proposition 8 does nothing more than enshrine in the California constitution the notion that opposite-sex couples are superior to same-sex couples.
