Free food and entertainment: Consider yourselves bribed.

That’s right — I’m offering you all what can only be described as the offer of a lifetime (provided you happen to only live for, say, a week). Tomorrow at 1pm, the Secular Society will be screening more highlights from the Global Atheist Convention and feasting on a smorgasbord of dips and bread (vegetarian friendly, thanks to the Food Co-op in Union House). The food will be tasting and the viewing will be intellectually stimulating — the only requirement is that you be a UMSS member, but you’re more than welcome to join up on the day for $1 or $2.

If I’ve piqued your interest, details are below the fold…

—————

Following on from a great talk and Q&A with Greg Barber MLC, UMSS are continuing the screenings of selected highlights from the sold out 2010 Global Atheist Convention, including talks by Richard Dawkins, AC Grayling, Philip Adams, Peter Singer and more.

Free snacks will be provided for all members at the event, and UMSS merchandise (badges and tees) will also be available to purchase.

The DVD of the 2010 Global Atheist Convention can be purchased at any JB HI FI store or online.
