Numbers that pwn.

It’s interesting what one finds just scrambling around the internet aimlessly. Sure, most of the time you just stumble accidentally into porn sites (or ‘accidentally’); but occasionally you come across gems like pretty wild narcissistic numbers — numbers that pwn.

According to the site, a pretty wild narcissistic number is…

… an integer n that can be expressed using just the digits of n (each digit used once only and in order from left to right) and the operators + – × ÷ ^ √ !

Note that the author isn’t particularly excited by that sentence — the ‘!’ denotes the factorial function.

I recommend checking out the page — you don’t even need to know any maths beyond about seventh grade level to understand what’s going on over there, and there are some interesting representations of numbers. For more stuff by the same guy (Colin Rose), you can check out his about page here — complete with a video of him solving a Rubik’s Cube in under two minutes.
